Fabric Scientists in Action!

Kindergartners were busy discovering properties of fabric! Activities included pulling fabric apart, testing the absorbency of a variety of fabrics, weaving, sewing, staining and washing fabric, dyeing fabric and making a fabric collage. Students also learned about how different fabrics are made and determined good uses for various fabrics. They loved learning and discovering!
